Five women from our church are speaking at a retreat tomorrow. It's a four hour drive, so a few of us are carpooling. My ride had an unavoidable delay, which gives me time to blog.
This is only the third time I have been away from Brooke for the night. It's good to venture out, but I miss her very much, even when I'm only gone for twenty-four hours.
This speaking engagement is on the same subject as my last, which took place in November. I have revised the talk slightly, but the changes are minor. My next talk is scheduled for March 15th, and it will be on a completely different topic. I have been taking notes and letting it stew in my mind for a while, but now it's time to get it in shape on paper.
